More specifically, some of the specific objectives of the Association for Social Economy and Lifelong Learning are: a) the skills and competences development of individuals, communities and institutions, b) the implementation of actions for the protection of cultural heritage & environmental protection and environmental awareness actions and information, c) the knowledge & best practices share in order to be able to meet the challenges of society, d) the active contribution to the development of a European area of skills and qualifications, e) the promotion of Social Economy and education at all levels, f) the combat against unemployment and social exclusion, g) the development of research, expertise, and innovation, h) the implementation of actions to support innovation in enterprises for their modernization and development, i) the expansion of business networking and knowledge base and j) the promotion of actions for development of tourism and tourism promotion.

Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute / Fifty-Fifty (Thessaloniki, Greece)

The Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute is an organization of civil society, established to help individuals, communities and institutions to develop their skills, improve their performance and share knowledge to be able to meet the challenges of society and thus contribute actively to the development of a European area of skills and qualifications. The goal is to promote lifelong learning and initiatives of transnational aspect specifically addressed to young people, adult learners and professionals, through non-formal education and the main vision is to develop innovation to be implemented at the level of civil society and therefore contribute to social cohesion. The Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute is working to bring about social change for the benefit of citizens in the context of development of local, regional and European society. It focuses on the promotion of equal learning opportunities, in promoting human rights, cultivating the spirit of entrepreneurship and the development of people’s abilities, promotes intercultural dialogue, knowledge exchange and European awareness with the active participation of young people and adults in projects relating to mobility, entrepreneurship education, professional and personal development. It is linked closely with various public and private bodies in national and international level, including NGOs, schools, universities, VET providers, municipalities, etc.

ARISTA DEKA LIMITED

ARISTA DEKA LIMITED is a small medium enterprise in the Republic of Cyprus, founded in Nicosia in February 2019. It is an expression in Greek indicating Excellence (the equivalent of “Perfect Ten”). There was a time when a perfect ten in any field ranging from gymnastics to education to business was thought to be unattainable. In ARISTA DEKA, they believe that excellence is possible despite or because of how hard it is to be achieved. Excellence is the quality of being truly the best at something. The excellence model people of ARISTA DEKA follow is inspired by the Baldrige model, and it focuses in five elements:

ASOCIACIÓN DE INNOVACIÓN, EMPRENDIMIENTO Y TECNOLOGÍAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN Y LA COMUNICACIÓN / INNETICA (Zaragoza, Spain)

Founded in 2009, INNETICA is a non-profit association (NGO) whose mission is to promote cooperation between entities across Europe to promote European values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union. Its mission is to promote social innovation projects, in addition to developing educational projects and teaching activities. INNETICA has among its aims to promote sustainable development through initiatives aimed at protecting the environment. INNETICA associates university entities, public bodies, companies, training centres, as well as intellectuals, professionals and volunteers who contribute their ideas and experiences for the change and improvement of European societies. To fulfill all these purposes, it develops various activities, for example: a) the organization of conferences and meetings at national and European level in education, training, culture, research and social innovation, b) the conduction of dissemination campaigns on the results of the projects carried out by the Association, c) the creation and development of content, applications and digital services devoted to the areas mentioned in different languages. INNETICA has a staff of six professionals with great experience in different areas.

FUNDACJA AUTOKREACJA
(Warsaw, Poland)

The Autokreacja Foundation aims at fostering the active participation in a civil society through various initiatives among the other outdoor activities, contributing to the civilizational, cultural and economic development of Poland. It wants to put the spotlight on problems of diverse social groups that are often marginalized, and that is the reason why it focuses on cooperation with long-term unemployed, youth from underprivileged regions, unemployed women, elderly people, immigrants and refugees. Many of their projects were designed to favor multiculturalism and intercultural exchange by bringing together different lifestyles, points of view and philosophies. Their conviction is that sharing, experiencing and debating are the best ways to progress as it permits us to be open to new initiatives and to welcome with enthusiasm, possibilities of cooperation with organizations dealing with different domains in many countries and cultures all over the world. The Autokreacja Foundation has significant experience in cross-border cooperation. As a member of the Anna Lindh Foundation, they maintain contact and cooperate with partners from Europe, North Africa, Middle East, but also from Asia and Latin America. For many years they have been participating in and organizing international mobilities: exchanges, study visits, guided tour visits, but also conferences, seminars and workshops.

STEPP - STRATEGIE E SVILUPPO / STEPP
(Florence, Italy)

STEPP strategie e sviluppo located in Florence began its activity in 2015. It is a training agency that promotes training courses for adults. The Stepp training agency specializes in consulting and innovation for access to the labor market.

Its main interventions are focused on stimulating job growth for adults who have lost their jobs or want to accumulate their skills. Since 2016 it has been committed to promoting training courses for migrants with the aim of enhancing cultural diversity as part of European identity and promoting the values of diversity and inclusion in Europe starting from local communities. Stepp deals with employability promotion, intersection of demand – job offer, promotion of the transition to active protection of the individual in the labor market, supporting the subject to remain competitive in terms of employment, improvement of the conditions of access to work, through interventions aimed at providing each individual with equal opportunities to access the labor market, stabilization and regularization of working conditions and development of a youth entrepreneurial culture. The tools STEPP uses to carry out these services are training, professional requalification, orientation, school-work alternation, professional traineeships with work experiences throughout Europe. STEPP also provides specialist consultancy for the enhancement of young people’s professional skills.

FilmWorks Trust
(London, United Kingdom)

An accredited training course provider for writing and presentation for the broadcast media, FilmWorks Trust empowers marginalized people who are often under-represented in local and pan-European creative and media debates through innovative skills training, forums and work experience to access employment in sustainable and well-paid employment in the UK and across Europe. FilmWorks Trust also seeks to innovate and establish dynamic community-based skills training programmes, as well as the BAME young people and adults on topics including scriptwriting, digital video production and Internet broadcast. Each of their programmes might, for instance, incorporate creative writing, interview, technical and presentation skills for film and video production while engaging young people in arts. Its specific aims are to: a) develop the skills base and build the capacity of young and adult people from particularly disadvantaged communities in the UK and across Europe, by providing theoretical, practical, administrative and technical skills enabling them to explore and develop the creative sector and employability skills, b) introduce disenfranchised young people, including those speaking English as second language, to networks in broadcast, creative and film industries, c) enable their clients to gain access to well-paid, sustainable careers in cultural industries sectors, d) help the creation of platforms for debate which enable socio-economically excluded Europeans to have their voices heard and e) refer young participants for employment advice and support with job searches to gain access to well-paid, sustainable careers in media, film and cultural industry sectors via advice services including our media contact.
